Labor Day – As you LABOR for the Lord in his kingdom, always remember that he gives you rest. He has told us in his Word that true spiritual rest comes from his Word. It is his letter of love given to you directly from his heart. May we always find the needed spiritual rest in his Word so that we are empowered to give our labors of love to him and others. Have a very blessed Labor Day weekend!
Confirmation Classes – We will begin confirmation classes for 7th and 8th Graders who do not attend Christ Lutheran School on Tuesday, September 21st. These classes will be on Tuesday from 4:00 until 5:30pm.
Witness Workshop – Sharing your faith is an exciting thing to do. Sometimes it makes your heart pound, because you finally have the opportunity you’ve been seeking. Or maybe it is because you’re not sure what to say. On September 11th from 9 AM to noon Tom Banesak will lead a workshop at Living Water, WindLake (6525 Milwaukee Ave. HWY 36) on sharing your faith in the work place. Join us to help get a better grip on seeing opportunities to share your faith and learning new skill to bring the gospel to the people who work with you. Wednesday Evening Bible Class– Another great opportunity to grow in your faith and share your faith is by attending and inviting others to a new Bible Class that is starting on September 15th. The course is called “New Life in Christ.” For more information, please contact Pastor Pufahl. Dartball– We had our first dartball practice on Monday, August 30th. If you are interested in playing dartball, please contact Neal Bodanske. The first games are on Monday, September 13, starting at 7 pm.
