Mornings with Mommy

Mornings with Mommy isn’t preschool. It isn’t childcare. It’s something different. Mornings with Mommy is a fun and easy way for you to enjoy activities with your children and meet other caregivers.
There will be age appropriate activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. And the best part is, we do all the planning, you just sign up! Caregivers can mingle with each other and enjoy activities with their children including: arts and crafts, sensory table, flannel stories and story time, music, educational toys, and a snack.
Program Details
WHAT: Educational play-dates with Mommy.
WHEN: From 10:00am - 11:00am on the first and third Thursdays of the month.
WHERE: Christ Lutheran Church, S89W22970 Maple Ave, Big Bend, WI
COST: Five dollars per family per session. Payment can be made by cash.
REGISTRATION: Advanced registration is required. Please see links for each session's registration.

Is Registration Required?
Yes, registration is required for each individual session. Online registration is preferred, but if you do not have internet access you may also register by calling 262.662.3355.
Who can attend Mornings with Mommy?
Children age birth through preschool accompanied by an adult - that can be a Mom, Dad, Grandparent, nannies or any caregiver!
Do Mornings with Mommy sessions fill up?
Yes, so register soon to reserve your space. When the session is full a waiting list is formed. If your plans change please email the director (sgeuder@christbigbend.com) or call 262.662.3355 to cancel. Any openings will be filled from the waiting list.
What happens if I am on the waiting list?
If there are any cancellations we will then move on to the waiting list. We will call the number you used in your waiting list registration.
How much does Mornings with Mommy cost?
Each session costs $5.00 for each family (NOT per child). The registration fees are used to cover crafts, supplies and snacks.
What will we be doing at Mornings with Mommy?
Each session is a little different because each one has its own theme, but the basic format will be: We will begin with language and literacy activities on the big rug (stories, flannel board and songs). After that the director will explain the different stations set up in the room. These stations will include arts, crafts, sensory activities, gross motor skills and fine motor skills and an infant area. Then you will explore these activities at your own pace, while enjoying the company of the other adults. At 11:00, a snack will be served. You may enjoy it at Mornings with Mommy or take it to go for the ride home.
