Welcome!

Thank you for joining us for worship! We welcome you as guests who will be served by our holy and loving God through His Word and Sacraments. While all styles of worship take some getting used to, we pray that all who visit and worship with us are blessed and encouraged by the message of God's Word that we have in our lesson and hymns.

Worship Service Focus

Worship at Christ Lutheran Church follows the historic liturgy of the Church. Our worship is designed to give our Savior Jesus Christ thanks for the salvation He won for us. Lutheran worship is really a conversation between God and His people. He speaks to us in His Word; we praise Him and respond to Him in prayer and song. We confess our sins and needs; He provides the forgiveness Jesus accomplished at the cross and helps us with our individual needs. Our worship is also designed to focus us on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit does that by exposing our need for Christ and by showing us the wonders of God's grace in Christ - forgiveness and peace, help and hope for life in this world, and life forever with God in heaven.

"Let the little Children come to me."

We encourage you to bring your children to worship with us, but we know it can be a little daunting bringing kids to church. To help with this, we provide "church bags" (with papers, crayons, books and the like) available in our main entrance lobby. Baby noises can be beautiful to our Savior who said, "Let the little children come to me." If your child needs a break for any reason, we provide an audio-equipped nursery adjacent to the lobby for you to use to help sooth your child.

Personal Conveniences

For your convenience, restrooms are located adjacent to the main lobby next to the coat racks and drinking fountains. On the other side of the lobby are some refreshments such as coffee and tea. Please help yourself and feel free to ask anyone for help and directions. For people with special needs, please talk to one of our ushers or greeters and we will be glad to accommodate any needs you may have.

Connect with us

As our mission states, we want to connect people to Christ so that people live for Christ. Please help us do this by filling out a "Connection Card" (located in the pews) and dropping it into the collection plate or handing it to our Pastor or an usher. The information you provide us will help us identify your needs and give us an opportunity to get to know you better.
